Board of Health 05-20-2026 Emergency Meeting Cancellation

Regrettably, the Board of Health regular meeting of May 20, 2026 was cancelled just prior to being convened because of a storm related emergency power outage at the Municipal Building and concern for public safety in a facility serviced with only backup power end emergency lighting. JCP&L provided a restoration estimate of 10:00 PM or later for hundreds of customers in the outage area, including the Municipal Building, and requested additional crews to affect the effort.

Because the Board’s Agenda for this meeting was full, we are seeking to reschedule at the earliest opportunity and will provide further updates here, as plans are finalized. Our apologies for inconvenience this has caused.
